Hi! It's 90 degrees in NYC for the 5th time (only) this summer. Some friends and I can't help but soak up some rays. Truth be told, we usually go to the beach late in the afternoon to avoid the worst UV Rays. I know what you're thinking, tanning, really? I don't tan but I do enjoy the occasional warmth of the sun. Hi! It's YSL's birth month. He would've been 75 this year. In this look, I'm doning a pair of YSL Tribute Too sandals in chocolate brown in his honor. I'm also embracing all of the pretty flowers. I'm aware that's it's limited time only in NYC so here is some color blocking at it's finest.

OOTD 216 :: SUMMER BABIES

Hi! Summer is the time when everyone is hitting the streets hard. If it's not one birthday, it's the next! Well this is one of the looks from my birthday and a favorite of mine. Made by one of my favorite fashion designers at BCBG-- this is quite unique for my wardrobe. I am starting to get into more asymmetric pieces. This dress in particular complements the asymmetric bob very well.

OOTD 215 :: SUMMER BABY

Hi! It's August and my favorite time of year because my birthday is in August. To celebrate, the next two posts are featuring looks from my birthday celebrations. I've said this before on my blog but I want to stress the importance of it again, tailor everything! Even if you think something fits well, get you local tailors second opinion on it. I do some of my tailoring on my own but I am known for turning things into shorter skirts or crop tops even if they aren't. The skirt in today's look is an example, it was longer and I shortened it.
