Frugal Friday: Black Friday

Hi! Here's the deal. You can get great deals on all kind of things on Black Friday but you should really be planning in advance for something like this. I mean, I know that you want a new television but have you set aside some funds for it? It's easy to get way out of hand with Black Friday deals. So start planning in advance and prepare your bank account for the spending that will inevitably ensue during the next two months.

That said, don't forget cyber Monday. The Monday after Black Friday when, from the comfort of your own home, you can get similar deals delivered to your front door or wrapped and shipped to your family and friends. Christmas. Done.

Make a list, check it twice, including how much you plan to spend and then start shopping as early as 8pm on Thanksgiving.

Old Navy is offering $1,000,000 to one of the first 500 people in line in select Old Navy stores on Thanksgiving night.

BCBG is offering 40% off of the factory store prices!

Black Friday outlet deals are the best because it's double discounts!

Tech Tuesday: PS4

Hi! Usually my Tech Tuesday posts are tied to fashion. This week, I couldn't ignore the hype around the new PS4. My husband pre-ordered his and as of 12:07 a.m. Friday morning, we were owners. I am not a gamer. He played all weekend and I played air hockey with him twice in 5 days but I have to admit, it was fun.

What was even more fun was sharing with him all of the things I hear him say while gaming. I'm sure you share the same sentiment if you have a gamer in your house. I tweeted them so for a good laugh, follow me on twitter @greenshareen for a little segment I call, #thingsmyhusbandsays.

The Sony Playstation 4 is available at electronic stores nationwide and online, if you can find one.

OOTD 189 'BLACK CAT'

Hi! Continuing with my black theme... here is an all black ensemble that I threw together with my favorite new blazer and my latest pair of favorite shoes. Here is a comfy mix of high and low that's very chic and pops in the background of the colorful season we are in. Topped off with my latest sunglass obsession. I was having fun with this shoot. I didn't even feel cold, even though it's 47 degrees out. It's fun to play in the leaves again, reminded me of my childhood.

Frugal Friday: Inexpensive Coated Jeans in Action

Hi! A few weeks back, I told you about these coated jeans from Old Navy and now I finally put together a look for them. Just wanted you to see $34.50 in action. Jazz it up by mixing high and low. Get a really vamp look by matching the lipstick! I opted for this merlot color in addition to a teal pair. Vince Camuto has coated jeans this same color for $98 and All Saints start at $175 and up!

Weekly Favorite: Black Lipstick

Hi! I love black. Even more than green. Seriously. So I am tempted to try this black lipstick. It's on the way but I want to share it as my weekly favorite. It's not a Halloween thing. I don't celebrate Halloween but it's a style thing. I will let you know how it turns out. This color is called 'Pristine' by Illamasqua and is sold at Bloomingdale's for $29. Let me know what you think!
