Weekly Favorite: Hermès bracelet

Hi! There are a couple of things that are statement pieces for people. For some it's a house, some have a fancy car, some have a really nice bag or engagement ring. For me, my favorite piece this week is my Hermès bracelet that I got in Paris. I could've bought it anywhere. There is a Hermès store 3 blocks from my job. But, I preferred to hold out and buy mine from the original flagship location in France. It means that much more to me from the actual House of Hermès at 24 rue du Fabourg - St. Honorè.
Remember not to get too attached to 'stuff'. In the end you can't take it with you so wear it now!

FRUGAL FRIDAY: Leather Moto Cross Jacket

Hi! I often shop the high designers when they do a line at a lower price point. It just makes economical sense. I have a desire for a BCBG moto leather jacket that's around $400 but found this faux leather version from Kohl's for Catherine Malandrino on sale for $90! I rarely do faux leather but this transitional piece won't get too much use so you might as well put it in the low budget trendy category.

Still love BCBG, if you can, splurge on the higher priced leather version.

OOTD 185 'SAINTS GO MARCHING IN'

Hi! Few items in my closet are "All Saints". The brand is pricey but the intricate dtails are amazing. Today, I am attending a birthday gathering and meeting an old friend that I usually lunch with once a quarter. Running out of opportunities to wear skirts without tights, I had to get this one in! The detail and embroidery are amazing. It's a little weighty but it's so fab.

Enjoy!

Tank: Old Navy
Skirt: All Saints
Wrap: BCBG
Patent Leather Mary Janes: Manolo Blahnik
Necklace: Banana Republic

Frugal Friday: Coated Jeans

Hi! There are trends and there are trends. I think it's safe to say that the coated jeans trend will come and go and I'm not willing to put in $300 towards it. However, I found these Old Navy jeans that are only $36.94. I encourage two things:

1. Flowy asymmetrical shirts
2. Try not to rub your legs together too much, I hear they are noisy. (That's what I was afraid of but, you get what you pay for.

It comes in these fun colors; my favorite is wine.

OOTD 183 'CYCLING IN PARIS'

Hi! Today we are going to take out Paris' version of 'Citibikes'. There's look a bit older- as if they didn't just launch this summer. Anyway, it'll be pretty romantic to cycle through Paris and dodge the motorcyclist. We will probably stop on the bridge and lock a padlock too. It's a tradition regarding eternal love. I know, the mush factor is way high on this side of the pond. See you soon!

Tech Tuesday 'Gold iPhone 5S'

Hi! This was really my favorite thing last week but then again, it will probably be one of my favorite things for a while. The iPhone has always been amazing but the fingerprint ID technology is a bit off-the-charts hot. I love this phone and I like to use my pinky to unlock so I feel like Mr. Evil from Austin Powers.

Sleek, clean lines, beautiful. Just what we expect from Apple. I can't even bring myself to put a case on it so it will be rocked naked for a while.
